In July, 2018, the delegation from Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) was invited by Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) to visit Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, an industrial elite training base subsidized by Ministry of Education, on 11th of July to learn more about the characteristics of technological and vocational education in Taiwan.

"Photovoltaic Module and Power Generation System Installation Elite Training Base" was a training base established by "Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology" subsidized by Ministry of Education with more than 50 million. Besides Photovoltaic Module industry, the base is equipped with a training station and various system evaluation and detection equipment, and the institution's original solar photovoltaic system is also equipped with a Class B technical qualification examination area, forming a unique green energy development base in Taiwan.

Moreover, the operation of the base can cooperate with local industries for industry-academia cooperation and internships, to cultivate students' practical ability in photovoltaic module packaging. It is expected to become a training base for regional and even national photovoltaic technology personnel in the future, to motivate the development of green energy industry and employment opportunities.

Through the arrangement of the on-site visit, FIBAA delegation felt that our technological and vocational universities and colleges fully cooperate with national policy development and industrial needs; in the same time, the attentions to students' pragmatic and practical efforts and intentions are never ignored. In addition to build a bridge for our domestic institutions to international market, TWAEA also inspires the European accreditation associations’ understanding about Taiwan's technical and vocational education. TWAEA looks forward to assisting Taiwan's technological and vocational education system to have broader international visibility and makes Taiwan's higher education more international in the future.

TWAEA has worked hard to promote the professional knowledge and skill related to accreditation and also the provision of accreditation services. To enhance the quality in higher education is always the mission of TWAEA. In recent years, TWAEA not only has started to join the members of the international accreditation organizations, but also worked closely with professional associations in Japan, Thailand, Europe, Russia, New Zealand, Croatia, Hong Kong and Macau for further cooperation.
