TWAEA has renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA), further reinforcing the long-term partnership in higher education quality assurance. The signing of this MOU aims to enhance the alignment of accreditation mechanisms, facilitate professional knowledge exchange, promote international joint accreditation, and expand the sharing of best practices in quality assurance. Through deeper collaboration, both organizations will continue to drive the development and innovation of accreditation standards while fostering closer cooperation in evaluation processes and capacity building. Looking ahead, TWAEA and JUAA will actively engage in international joint accreditation, professional dialogue, and staff exchange programs to advance higher education quality assurance and establish a globally influential accreditation cooperation model.

TWAEA and the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation (MNCEA) held a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony on March 28, 2023, marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration in higher education quality assurance. This MOU will foster cooperation between the two organizations in evaluation mechanisms, information exchange, and cross-border initiatives, further enhancing their international visibility. This year, MNCEA also joined an international survey initiative launched by TWAEA, reflecting a shared vision and commitment to advancing education quality and global impact. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to drive progress in regional higher education quality assurance by leveraging mutual expertise and collaborative development.

TWAEA and the Center For Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (CEA VNU-HCM) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in May 2022. The collaboration will focus on accreditation mechanisms, information exchange, professional knowledge sharing, and mutual recognition to enhance higher education quality and international alignment in the region. This partnership marks a significant milestone in TWAEA’s ongoing efforts to expand the international network. Moving forward, both parties will strengthen their ties in quality assurance through cross-border projects and collaborative initiatives, jointly promoting the development and internationalization of higher education.

TWAEA collaborates with the Songklanakarin Thai Language Centre of the prestigious Prince of Songkla University (PSU) in Thailand to organize a Thai language proficiency test. This initiative aims to foster strong exchanges between Taiwan and Thailand, facilitate cultural knowledge sharing, deepen partnerships, and maximize mutual benefits.

Following the initial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) among the quality assurance agencies of Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan in 2017, TWAEA once again signed a new MOU in 2021 with the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) of Thailand, reaffirming and deepening the international partnership. This renewed agreement further strengthens the foundation for collaboration in international joint accreditation, professional knowledge exchange, and joint research. Through continued cooperation, the three QA agencies aim to promote mutual recognition of accreditation systems, share best practices, and enhance academic mobility, ensuring that higher education institutions benefit from a more coordinated and globally competitive quality assurance framework.
