Perspective. Motivate Fundamental Innovation.
To explore how quality assurance can assist higher education institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under the trend of globalization, the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA), the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA), and Thailand’s Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) jointly organize the 2023 International Webinar on October 17, at 1:30 PM.
TWAEA has been dedicated to higher education quality assurance for 20 years. In this event, international scholars and Taiwan’s education experts are invited to come together to participate, focusing on three major topics: "Cross-Border Communication," "Crises and Opportunities in the Digital and Pandemic Era," and "Strategies for Sustainable Development in Education," sharing experiences and practices from various countries.
The event features a special guest, former Minister of Education Dr. Ovid Tzeng, who will deliver a keynote speech on the topic of "Challenges and Innovations in Higher Education under International Trends." The webinar will also discuss issues such as the impact of the pandemic on education and how digital technology addresses the changing times, with the aim of inspiring attendees to reflect on the global challenges in education and to explore strategies for sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to achieve the goals of SDG 4. In the face of rapidly changing society, declining birthrate, and the fast development of AI technology, it aims to ignite sustainable solutions for the future development and challenges in quality assurance.
