CEA VNU-HCM first participated in the cross-regional survey of university student learning outcomes and satisfaction led by TWAEA in 2021, bringing the learning experiences of Vietnamese higher education students into cross-national comparison. In 2022, the two organizations signed a memorandum of understanding, formally establishing a framework for long-term cooperation and continued exchange on student learning, quality assurance research, and accreditation practice.
In 2025, CEA VNU-HCM further expanded the partnership by joining the iJAS international joint accreditation framework. Its participation in committee activities, accreditation framework development, and professional exchange extended the partnership beyond evidence-based survey research to institutional collaboration in standards development, joint review, and accreditation decision-making.
Since 2026, CEA VNU-HCM has also participated in international staff exchange activities organized by TWAEA and its Asian quality assurance partners. Through thematic presentations, dialogue across systems, and the sharing of practical experience, these activities deepen mutual understanding of different higher education systems and quality assurance approaches. The two organizations are steadily developing a multifaceted partnership encompassing survey research, professional capacity building, system development, and international joint accreditation, contributing together to the continuous enhancement of higher education quality in Asia.
