TWAEA representatives joined delegates from the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) to participate in the third exchange workshop hosted by the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) in Bangkok, Thailand. Discussions focused on assessing student learning outcomes from both institutional and quality assurance perspectives, supporting institutional quality enhancement, the relationship between accreditation and society, and the application of information technology in quality assurance.

A delegation of 22 principals and teachers from four Thai vocational schools—Songkhla Vocational College, Pattani Technical College, Yala Technical College, and Luang Pratan Ratnikorn Industrial and Community College—engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from Taipei University of Marine Technology, Chihlee University of Technology, Hwa Hsia University of Technology, and Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science. The exchange focused on key topics such as higher education pathways, internships, and employment opportunities for Thai students, fostering deeper collaboration between vocational and higher education institutions.

A delegation from the Korea Accreditation Board for Vocational Higher Education (KAVE) visited TWAEA to gain insights into Taiwan’s higher education quality assurance and accreditation practices. The meeting facilitated experience-sharing between both organizations, focusing on the respective approaches to evaluation and accreditation implementation.

Dr. Kerstin Fink, Managing Director of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), and Mr. Lars Weber, International Director, were invited to Taiwan. TWAEA accompanied them on a visit to the Department of Technological and Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education, facilitating discussions on higher education evaluation and quality assurance.

Representatives from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) were invited to Taiwan for on-site visits to Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology and Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science, both designated as industry elite training demonstration bases subsidized by the Ministry of Education. Through firsthand observation of the educational environment, the delegation gained in-depth insights into the characteristics and strengths of Taiwan’s higher technological and vocational education system.

TWAEA representatives joined delegates from Thailand's Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) for the second exchange workshop hosted by the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) in Tokyo. Through the international staff exchange program, participants engaged in in-depth discussions and knowledge sharing, strengthening the connection between Taiwan’s higher education and global accreditation trends. The workshop provided an opportunity to explore diverse evaluation experiences and reflect on best practices in quality assurance.

TWAEA, in collaboration with the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and Thailand's Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA), launched an inter-agency staff exchange program to foster closer professional engagement among QA agencies. TWAEA hosted the first exchange event, providing an opportunity for evaluation professionals from Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand to engage in direct interaction and in-depth discussions. Through mutual visits and exchanges, participants explored higher education accreditation systems and practices across the three countries, strengthening international cooperation in quality assurance.
