Dr. Shu-Ying Li, Academic Vice President of the City University of Macau, along with senior administrators, was invited to Taiwan to share insights on higher education, institutional management, and university governance in both Taiwan and Macau. The visit included campus tours to Jinwen University of Science and Technology and National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, as well as an on-site observation of the institutional evaluation process at Far East University. Through these activities, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s higher education evaluation practices and accreditation procedures.

Dr. Eric Li, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), visited Taiwan to gain insights into the 2014 academic year technical and vocational institution evaluation process. During the reviewer training session, he also shared Hong Kong’s experiences in meta-evaluation, providing valuable perspectives on quality assurance practices.

During the meeting, the delegation gained insights into Taiwan’s technical and vocational institution evaluation system and engaged in discussions on quality assurance practices and evaluation experiences between Taiwan and Mainland China.
