TWAEA Arranged SEEI Representatives to Visit Technical Universities in Taiwan

Observer, Ms. Jiani Chen, from the Shanghai Education Evaluation Institute’s Higher Education Evaluation Office was arranged to visit Jinwen University of Science and Technology and National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology. The visit aimed to provide insights into Taiwan’s technical and vocational education system, including its development status, institutional characteristics, and quality assurance practices.

Professor Yaogang Li, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Education Evaluation Institute, led a delegation to visit TWAEA, where they were welcomed by TWAEA Chairman Dr. Victor W. Liu and Secretary-General Ms. Shu-Yuan Wu. Both parties gave presentations on their respective organizational activities before engaging in in-depth discussions on quality assurance and evaluation practices.

TWAEA welcomed Ms. Alina Sargsyan, an intern from Armenia participating in the INQAAHE Small States Internship Program, for an observational study and training session on higher education quality assurance practices.
